Potter Space extends partnership with St George’s Crypt into 2026 after landmark £14k fundraising year

Leading property company Potter Space has confirmed it will extend its formal partnership with Leeds-based homelessness charity St George’s Crypt through 2026, following a highly successful year of fundraising and volunteering. During 2025, Potter Space raised over £14k for St George’s Crypt, helping to support frontline services for some of Leeds’ most vulnerable residents.

While 2025 marked a milestone year for Potter Space as the business celebrated its 60th anniversary, the decision to continue the partnership reflects a broader, long-term commitment to social responsibility. By extending its support beyond a single celebratory year, Potter Space is embedding its relationship with St George’s Crypt into its ongoing community and ESG strategy.

The funds raised throughout 2025 were the result of a wide-ranging programme of activity that brought together employees, customers and business partners.

The year began with hands-on volunteering at St George’s Crypt, where Potter Space colleagues worked directly on the front line, sorting donations and serving meals to people experiencing homelessness.

Fundraising continued through a series of targeted donation initiatives hosted during the company’s annual Customer Roadshow, helping to engage its wider business community in supporting the charity. Momentum built with a well-supported charity golf day at Leeds Golf Centre, followed by a demanding 20-mile sponsored walk along the Harrogate Ringway. The year culminated in a spectacular gala dinner at the iconic Leeds Corn Exchange, featuring a high-value raffle that helped push total fundraising beyond expectations.

Jason Rockett, Managing Director of Potter Space, said: “2025 has been an incredibly rewarding year for our team. Working alongside the dedicated staff at St George’s Crypt and seeing the immediate impact of their work across Leeds has been genuinely moving. The difference the Crypt makes every day is remarkable, and we’re proud to be continuing our support into 2026.”

Richard Leavis, Manager at St George’s Crypt, added: “We are extremely grateful for the generosity and commitment shown by Potter Space throughout 2025. The funds raised will directly support our frontline services, from emergency accommodation to hot meals for people in crisis. We are happy to be heading into 2026 with their continued support; it’s partnerships like these that allow us to plan for the future and ensure no one in Leeds has to face homelessness alone."

The extended partnership will continue to combine fundraising with hands-on volunteering, ensuring Potter Space colleagues remain closely connected to the charity’s mission and the people it supports.
