Potter Space expands expertise with new head of marketing

Potter Space has hired marketing and communications expert, Richard Dearden, as the company’s new Head of Marketing.

Joining the business’ new headquarters in Leeds city centre, Richard will oversee the full remit of marketing and communications for Potter Space to support its five-year vision as it invests £18 million into growing its nationwide property portfolio to meet the demand for small to mid-box warehousing space.

Having managed the full marketing mix across his 20-year career and led departments specialising in marketing, digital strategy, customer experience and innovation; Richard will supercharge the Potter Space marketing strategy and use his vast experience to hone Potter Space’s communications to maximise its reach across the I&L industry.

Reacting to the appointment, Jason Rockett, Managing Director of Potter Space, said: “Richard has everything we need to help us achieve our long-term vision. We’re looking forward to welcoming him to our new head office in Leeds and seeing him make his mark on our marketing strategy going forward. With an £18 million investment in our nationwide property portfolio to both improve and expand our facilities for our customers, as well as to expand our national footprint of business parks, there’s going to be plenty to get stuck into.”

Richard Dearden, new Head of Marketing at Potter Space, said, “Joining Potter Space gives me the chance to flex my creative and strategic muscles – with a particular focus on digital strategy and communications – and I can’t wait to get started. With so much going on in the business, I’m looking forward to getting to know the team and our customers and bringing the ‘Home for Business’ ethos to life across everything we do.”
