Potter Space has successfully expanded its relationship with long-standing customer MLH Transport Ltd, supporting its growth ambitions with an additional 50,000 sq. ft. of space at its Ely business park. This significant expansion sees MLH now occupying a total of approximately 53,000 sq. ft. across multiple units.
Over the past year, Potter Space has worked closely with MLH to deliver a tailored solution that supports its operational needs and strategic plans to consolidate operations from its previous sites in Haddenham and Earith into a single location. Occupying the additional three units at Ely will allow MLH to enhance efficiency and enable further business growth.

Richard Bousfield, Property Director at Potter Space, said: “Supporting the expansion of valued customers like MLH Transport Ltd is central to what we do at Potter Space. By offering the right mix of flexible, high-quality space - including warehousing, office, and HGV parking spaces - we’re helping ambitious businesses streamline and optimise operations, providing them with the opportunity to grow and thrive.”
Martin Langley, commercial director at MLH Transport, said: “Bringing our three sites together under one roof at Potter Space Ely is a major milestone for MLH Transport. The new space gives us more capacity for both warehousing and HGV parking. This allows us to operate more efficiently and continue growing the business. We’re proud to currently employ over 50 people from the local area, and with this expansion, we’re looking forward to creating even more employment opportunities as our team continues to grow.”
This consolidation not only strengthens MLH’s operational base but has also played a pivotal role in enabling it to secure new contracts, reinforcing its position in the transport and logistics sector.
This latest business expansion reflects Potter Space’s ongoing commitment to nurturing long-term partnerships and providing businesses with the space and support needed to grow. With a range of adaptable premises, the Ely business park continues to offer a ‘Home for Business’ for forward-thinking enterprises across the region.
