Potter Space launches units 52 and 53 to key property agents in Leeds

A successful breakfast briefing, launching the highly anticipated Units 52 and 53 at Ripon, was hosted by Potter Space at the Crafthouse in Leeds on Thursday, 13th February 2020. More than 30 key property agents from Yorkshire attended the event, including acting agents Fox Lloyd Jones and Gent Visick.

Managing Director at Potter Space, Matthew Lamb, introduced the session and outlined the ongoing investment at the Ripon site, which continues apace and which is generating a growing number of enquiries for the new units being developed.

He reinforced that Ripon is a central location for businesses, which has been backed up by one of its e-commerce customers, who stated that Ripon is perfectly positioned to serve both Scotland and England.

Jenna Strover, Head of Commercial Delivery at Potter Space, then provided more of an update on the new units.

She said that the amount of interest shown in Unit 52, which is a 11,250 square foot speculative build due to complete in the spring, had given Potter Space the confidence to speculatively develop the next unit.

This will be be Unit 53, a 17,445 square foot scheme which will be ready this winter, comprising 8m eaves height, floor loading of 50kN/m2, high quality ancillary offices and 31 parking spaces. 

She also outlined the details of Unit 35, a 30,000 square foot building on Potter Space Selby which is available to let immediately. 

As well as investments in new buildings and facilities, relationships and customer support are also vitally important to Potter Space.

Property Director, Rob Barker, outlined how Potter Space builds close ties with its customers through regular meetings, by having an on-site team with a single point of contact, and a maintenance team which can react quickly to problems. He emphasised the fact that Potter Space’s success is very much tied to that of the customer. Providing them with a trouble-free experience means they can focus fully on their own business.

Another vital point he covered was that of the health and wellbeing of customers and employees, a consideration that is at the forefront when developing the business parks. This area forms a key part of Potter Space’s business strategy and, as a result, it has created picturesque landscaping, with outdoor picnic areas, access to country footpaths, and perimeter walking zones.
