Potter Space is delighted to announce that Phase one of its Droitwich business park is now fully let, following the arrival of Armstrong Fluid Technology and Lodi UK to Units 103 and 104.
Lodi UK has relocated into the brand-new, customised 33,700 sq ft Unit 104 at Potter Space Droitwich, which will become a bespoke headquarters for its long-term occupation; while Armstrong Fluid Technology has taken over Unit 103, which comprises a 24,880 sq ft space. The move completes phase one of the business park for Potter Space, which has seen four new high-spec industrial units delivered in response to strong regional demand.
Lodi UK is a subsidiary of Lodi Group, who are one of the Europe’s largest family-owned manufacturers of pest control chemicals. The UK subsidiary was first formed in the West Midlands in 2004, growing from strength to strength ever since to be one of the UK’s leading suppliers into the professional agriculture and retail sector.
Roger Simpson, Director at Lodi UK, commented: “We are delighted to have moved into Potter Space Droitwich. It was an intricate search process due to a lack of suitable premises across the areas we operate in, so finding a high-quality, future-proofed space like Unit 104 has been a real win for us.
“The Potter Space team have been superb throughout the process and were able to tailor the building to our exact requirements. This new facility will play a key role in supporting the next stage of our growth.”
Unit 104 has been designed to meet BREEAM ‘Very Good’ standards and has been tailored specifically for Lodi UK, including 3,000 sqft of enhanced office space and a specialist area for the safe storage of chemicals. The building incorporates energy-efficient features such as LED lighting, high-performance insulation and modern water and drainage systems.
Lodi UK’s move follows the recent expansion of Armstrong Fluid Technology, who have taken Unit 103 at the same site, adding a further 24,800 sq ft of warehouse and office space to support increased manufacturing demand.
Armstrong’s additional unit will house stores, sub-assembly, product testing and administrative functions, enhancing capacity at its existing Droitwich operation.
Armstrong has manufactured in the West Midlands since 2004 and serves customers across the UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Joseph Keenan, Managing Director for Armstrong Fluid Technology in the UK, said: “This is an exciting time for us as we embark on plans for further expansion. Our Droitwich factory is a centre of excellence for the production of packaged plantrooms and integrated offsite solutions, recognised across the world. We are committed to manufacturing in the Midlands and look forward to welcoming new recruits to our workforce over the coming months.”
With both Lodi UK and Armstrong Fluid Technology now in occupation, all units within phase one of Potter Space Droitwich are fully let, reflecting the continued strength of demand for sustainable, flexible industrial and logistics space in the region.
Richard Bousfield, Property Director at Potter Space, said: “The full occupancy of phase one at Droitwich is a major milestone for us and a clear indicator of the quality of space we’re delivering. Welcoming a business like Lodi UK to complete the phase, alongside established manufacturers such as Armstrong, demonstrates the broad appeal of the site across different sectors.
“Our focus is on creating tailored, future-ready spaces where ambitious businesses can thrive, and the success of Droitwich shows that approach is really resonating with occupiers.”
Potter Space Droitwich forms part of the company’s wider UK portfolio, which includes business parks in Ripon, Knowsley, Selby and Ely. Across the portfolio, Potter Space manages more than 1.7 million sq ft of commercial space at close to 100% occupancy, with sustainability and long-term customer partnerships at the heart of its strategy.
